5.0 out of 5 stars A must for anyone who studies the Lindbergh kidnapping case., March 6, 1999

This review is from: Hand of Hauptmann: The Handwriting Expert Tells the Story of the Lindbergh Case (Hardcover)
Here is a book that truly examines the handwriting of Richard Hauptmann, the man executed for his involvement in the Lindbergh kidnapping case in 1934. The first half of the volume is a retelling of the now famous story. The second half carefully looks at samples of Hauptman's handwriting and compares them with the ransom notes. The author was prepared to testify at the trial but was never called. This is a must for those of us truly interested in the case.
