I was really unsure if I wanted to spend this much money on a "massager". I read the reviews where it says it was clunky and heavy. I ordered it and then cancelled my order. Finally, I broke down and bought it for myself for Christmas.

I do not regret it. It's not as hard to manuever as I feared, or as heavy. I could do without the attachments, though. They really do cut the vibration down, but I think they might be good to mix things up. The vibration is so strong that even with the attachments it's pretty intense. The instructions say that it should only be running for 25 minutes at a time, then turn it off. I don't think you'd need more than 25 minutes unless you want to scrape yourself off the ceiling later.

Do yourself a favor, whether it's for your back, feet, or whatever else you've got that needs relaxing, and buy one for yourself. It's incredible!! I think I will sew a small tuxedo for it and marry it. It would look just smashing with a tophat.

First of all, let me talk about this thing as a massager. Well, it's great! It does wonders for my back, and even my feet, giving me a great massage. Do like my lover did, and get a nice massage oil to accompany the Magic Wand - I highly recommend Kama Sutra's Pleasure Garden. The message oil makes the Magic Wand slide smoothly and sensuously across the skin. A sensuous massage makes great foreplay, providing relaxation first and stimulation at the right time!

But, this thing is more than a massager; it is a wonderful sex toy. The lower speed is pretty intense compared to your everyday vibrator, and works wonders. (Gentlemen, remember that a woman's flesh is pretty soft compared to yours!) But, that higher speed is there for that extra shot. The soft flexible head works wonders for a wide area vibration.

Now, if you are getting this gadget, you simply MUST get the attachments - the Wonder Wand and G-Spotter. Both provide great stimulation, and make the Magic Wand the wonder-sex-toy that it is. The Wonder Wand allows for some fantastic penetration movements, which is not as comfortable with the G-Spotter. But, the G-Spotter provides some absolutely earth-shaking stimulation. So, which is my favorite? BOTH!

By the way, though this thing is a little louder than a battery-operated vibrator, it is not much louder, and the power it provides puts all battery-operated vibes to shame. I highly recommend this item to every couple out there!

A very good constructed item which is fantastic for massaging shoulder muscles. Surely the best I have ever came across. On the sexual side surely it is an item that you have to get used to because at first glance it is frightning! But again the Rolls Royce of vibrators

I am fine being single for the rest of my life with the Hitachi Magic Wand. No one...no other thing, will ever make someone feel this good. Or make them scream THAT much.

The wand is terrific and my girlfriend enjoys it. I am both satisfied with this product and had no problems with Goodman's as a vendor. However, the attachment combo is definitely optional.

The attachments fit over the head of the massager and (I believe) are intended to be slid on only half-way. This (disappointingly) cuts down on vibration and creates a lever that can too easily bend the neck of the wand--which is notably fragile.

If you plan to slide an attachment all the way on the head of the wand, you will definitely need to lubricate the inside of the attachment first, or you will later spend 5-10 minutes trying to remove it without bending/breaking the most fragile part of the wand (the neck).

Without the attachments to aid in wear and tear, the wand itself is very durable and a highly recommended product for the bedroom. My girlfriend favors the low setting.

It's been my pleasure to review the Hitachi Magic Wand.

When I first removed the toy from the box, I was surprised at the seemingly innocent appearance and at the solid weight of the product. No cheap issue, this. It is in fact a marvelous deep muscle massager, easily able to deliver powerful but soothing vibrations to the entire body. The wand guarantees a relaxed recipient, whether you've been driving a moving van for thirty hours or building sets for a middle school play.

Phthalate free, it's a foot long instrument, twelve solid phallic-shaped inches loaded with teeth-clenching vibrations. The head is soft and flexible and measures 7 ½ inches around, slightly smaller than a tennis ball. There is a six foot power cord, 110-120 volts, with two settings. It is the strongest vibrator I've ever used.

After plugging it in and turning it to the highest setting, I applied the wand to the back of my neck, and then slipped it down between my shoulder blades. The relief was immediate, and it felt as if my entire body unclenched. I followed this up by testing it on my calves, my thighs, and even the soles of my feet. The vibrations tickled my feet but my leg muscles sighed with pleasure.

Undaunted and intrigued, and with growing sexual thoughts, I placed the buzzing head directly against my tender nipples. Zing! It was startling but absolutely amazing. I would have thought that the vibrations were too powerful to be enjoyed sexually but as it turns out, I was quite mistaken.

Works how it's suppose to. Some improvements I would suggest to Hitachi would be a longer cord and a L-M-H speed instead of just L & H. Overall I am happy with the product.
