The author Shogo Mochizuki has been a massage practitioner since his childhood. He emphasizes practical techniques. Warming up and excersizing arms and hands. I am a massage therapist. When I started to have pain in my wrists. This book caught my attention in one of my classes. It is complete and real world, the basic information, and techniques are handed down through hundreds of years of experience. I plan to employ these techniques for as long time as I am a therapist.

Excellent format showing incorrect, then correct form for massage techniques. Also includes valuable warm-ups for the therapist, prior to starting a massage. Very good photos and descriptions.

Not just for massage therapists, but anyone who needs their hands to work. Chiropractors, mechanics, carpenters, and office admins can all benefit.

One of the simplest text books Mochizuki ever published and one of the only Mochizuki books anyone can learn from without having been to one of his classes. In the US, there is only one school teaching his work. [...]

When I was in massage school, several instructors recommended this book. At the time, I was trying to absorb their instructions and decided to buy the book later. Little did I realize that the book would become unavailable. I kept looking and finally found it (AND AT A GREAT PRICE).
It is indeed everything I thought it would be. the suggestions are easy to follow, the exercises are fantastic. This is an aid to every masssage therapist, both to prevent pain / injury and to assist in rehabilitating an injury.
Highly recomended.
