Product Description

Breeding saltwater fish and taking care of corals requires very strict water parameters. To insure that the salinity level of your aquarium is exactly where it needs to be, a Refractometer is the most precise way, far more accurate than a simple hydrometer. A refractometer measures the concentrations of substances in aqueous solutions using refracted light. By using this instrument to refract light through a liquid, an angle will appear on a scale that shows you the amount of dissolved solids. Consisting of a prism assembly (to refract light), daylight plate, rubber grip, and eyepiece with focus adjustment, this Milwaukee refractometer is easy to use and read. Maintenance is easy; simply clean the prism with a soft cloth before and after each measurement. If you need to know the salinity of your aquarium as accurately as possible, try a Milwaukee refractometer.
