5.0 out of 5 stars Hand Rehabilitation A Quick Reference Guide and Review
This book has been extremely beneficial with general review of hand therapy in a concise and interesting manner. I really like the clinical gems! It has also helped me with my study for the Certified Hand Therapy exam by giving practice questions and topics that further direct me in my studies.

3.0 out of 5 stars Hard to use as an easy reference
Great information, but I was hoping for a book that I could use in the clinic as a quick reference quide. This is more of a study guide - which maybe it stated that somewhere and I just didn't notice.

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST-HAVE for the OT/PT/CHT treating the Upper Extremity, May 12, 2002
I am an OT/CHT who largely owes my success in passing the Hand Certification to the wisdom of these two brilliant authors. Using this book as a guide for studying, a quick reference for treating, and a way to test my skills and knowledge has been a phenomenal learning experience. I feel strongly that this is a necessary part of every therapist's library who treats the upper extremity. It "packs it all in" to a user friendly book with an appendix that doesn't quit. When ever these authors offer a book, a course, an online learning experience, I am first in line. This book will soon become your favorite...as I like to call it "the purple book"! You will not be disappointed!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Purple Book!, November 24, 2003
By A Customer
This book made studying for the CHT exam a lot easier. It is easy to read and the authors are very responsive to people learning. They even answered questions I had before taking the exam. I am currently waiting on my test results but feel as if this book coupled with their CD-ROM "Basics and Beyond" that I was well prepared. Keeping my fingers crossed for my results soon!

5.0 out of 5 stars The second edition is better than the first!, February 18, 2005
This review is from: Hand Rehabilitation: A Quick Reference Guide and Review, 2e (Paperback)
This book ROCKS! I thought the first edition was great but this one is even better. I love the products that these two therapists put on the market. They have great courses and teach in a way that is not intimidating. I think Nancy and Susan teach what therapists need and want to know in a way that sticks. I would also recommend this book and their course if you are studying for the hand exam.

Lots of sample questions which challenge and then the explanations are given with the answers. It is easy to use. Just make sure you cover the answer up if self testing.
