Rugby Ball Inflating Instructions:¶

1. Moisten the needle before inserting. Use Glycerin or Vegetable oil.This seals the area around the valve, while saliva does not.¶
2. Push the needle carefully into valve. Do not push the needle against the other side of the ball as this can puncture the bladder.¶
3. Inflate to 9-10 PSI¶
4. All natural latex bladders will deflate over a period of time. Always inflate before use.

I bought 5 of these rugby balls for my PE lessons at my school. However upon inflation 4 out of 5 deflated or did not inflate at all due to the inner bladder breaking. This was really disappointing, i coached rugby in the UK for years and used Gilbert balls and this never happened. Although i have received communication from the seller, i will go back to using Gilbert.
