This book was very helpful in learning about wool and how to correctly comb out wool and creat rovings. I did not know about planking and how important it was to combing but Peter Teal goes over this with pictures to give your a clear idea as to how its done. I do not spin, I am a felter, but found this book helpful in the process of getting your raw wool ready. I recommend this book not only to spinners but any one who wants to learn to comb wool.

This is an older book but it contains everything you neeed to know about processing wool at home. It's full of tips and expertise that's hard to find. I've been doing this a long time and I found many new ways and improved ways to do things. It's really excellent and the author spent alot of time thoroughly researching his information.
