I've been a faithful buyer of this page-a-day handbag calendar for 4 years running now. Something happened with the 2010 version - almost no antique handbags. I've always looked forward to old and new, 19th century to 21st century, and this calendar has always had about half/half previously. This year, though, it's heavily 1970s through 2009. I'd estimate less than 20% are pre-1970. Bo-ring. To Workman Publishing: PLEASE return to your previous format of new AND old. Many of us love to see the beaded handbags of the 1800s, mesh bags of the 20s, box purses of the 50s, etc... Why the change? Ladies & gents, if you love modern/current handbags, you'll love this calendar. If you like vintage and antique also, you're pretty much resigned to only one every 10 days or so.

Type of Calandaer is aleays personal preference. This type works for me both at work and home. The pictures are great. I look forward to turning the page each day.

I purchased this calendar as a gift for a purse fanatic. She LOVED it!!! She's thinking of decoupaging her night stand with the pages.

We had shoes all last year, and they were novel and exciting enough to make us all eager to see the next day's offering. Purses are just not as potentially exotic, but the refill options for this calendar format are limited. We DO enjoy the large numbers, and the plexi-stand format. Next year we'll reorder and hope for a new option. If I were giving this as a gift, definitely SHOES!

I am a Handbag aficionado and love looking at a great bag daily. I wish some of the styles were still available to purchase. I look forward to buying this calendar every year.
