I bought this book after finding Drew's website and loved what I saw. I love to make bags of all kinds and these are definitely now at the top of my "to do" list.

1. The book is small enough to be put into any bag and take anywhere. (Not to mention the price for 6 awesome patterns!)
2. Drew's pictures and instructions are crystal clear and anyone with the "basics" of crochet and the ability to "learn" should be able to do them all with ease. (After reading the patterns, I feel quite confident that I can make them all and I consider myself to be "semi" intermediate.)
3. His use of "locally" found yarns is imperative for most, esp. when considering cost and accessibility.

I know eventually I will make them all, but will start either with the hobo or the swirl bag.

I've had a chance to make two of the "Purses" (pg. 11) in this booklet. They were easy to create, and I added my own embellishments to make them unique. Drew Emborsky's instructions are very clear and concise, and I was able to make each purse in a couple of evenings. All of the purses are in the "easy" category and require medium (4) weight yarn. I took one of my finished purses to the ladies' craft group at my church today, and everyone fell in love with it. Three people wanted to buy it and asked me how much I was selling it for! Definitely worth *more* than the $3.95 I paid at Amazon.com! I'm a happy camper! Go, Crochet Dude!
