About the Author

Dr. Donald Greive is a former Dean of Academic, Evening and Part-time Services at a major community college. He has served as a teacher/trainer at two universities and has been an adjunct faculty member at a liberal arts college, state university, community college, and technical institute.

He is the editor of "Adjunct Info--A Journal for Managers of Adjunct and Part-time Faculty" and an active member in continuing education and academic professional associations. He has managed several conferences on part-time/adjunct faculty and served as a consultant for part-time faculty management and development.

He recently edited two additional publications:

"Managing Adjunct and Part-time Faculty for the New Millenium" and "Handbook II--Advanced Teaching strategies for Adjunct and Part-time Faculty."
