In typical CRC fashion, this book offers a good summary of its field. There is an authoritative treatment of the key algorithms in wireless nets or for mobile computing. The book brings together the equivalent of centuries of person-years in research and development.The methods in the book are basically state of the art. At least as far as publicly revealed methods are concerned. The field is still undergoing active development. The book discusses how quality of service issues are currently handled. One area worthy of improvement. |
