5.0 out of 5 stars Great reference - delivers what it claims - a must!, July 10, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Handbook for Digital Signal Processing (Hardcover)
The handbook is excellent because it fills the gap between textbook-design and robust industrial strength design. For instance, I am yet to see a textbook, even at the graduate level, which goes into the depths of certain filter design issues. The handbook does - and also cites pertinent references. I also like the comprehensive material on DSP hardware and software. If you are building practical DSP systems that must be robust and economical, buy this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars The DSP reference book, August 2, 2007
This review is from: Handbook for Digital Signal Processing (Hardcover)
The best DSP book out there written by the experts in each of their respective fields. Even though the book has many authors, the book manages to present a coherent picture of each field.

Fewer homework problems, but otherwise equivalent to collection of some of the best college texts in these areas.
