5.0 out of 5 stars A welcome addition to aerobatic literature
There are more than a few books on powered aerobatics, but - to the best of my knowledge - this is one of only two dealing with the specialized subject of saiplane aerobatics. Profusely illustrated with b&w photographs and helpful diagrams, the book is an excellent and thorough introduction to the sport. My only criticism is the absence of any commentary on the only two...

3.0 out of 5 stars not really fair to rate what I have not read yet.
I have not read the book yet. However, I did notice that the price was reduced by $3.00
I am looking forward to reading it.

Profusely illustrated with b&w photographs and helpful diagrams, the book is an excellent and thorough introduction to the sport. My only criticism is the absence of any commentary on the only two aerobatic gliders in current production, namely the SZD-59 Acro and the DG 303 Elan Acro.

This is a British book, so sometimes the vocabulary has a few minor "issues," but for anyone with any interest in aerobatics it's quite clear.

I found the book to be informative and useful. I just did a short aerobatic course in England and my instructor was the proofreader for this book.

As you read the book, try to visualize the control inputs and the aircraft's attitude; it will help you.

I am comfortable recommending this book and/or Les Horvath's book from the SSA. There are other aerobatic books, but very little that focusses on gliders. We have a number of energy management issues, and primacy says it would be better not to print power plane concepts on your brain first. I don't think you would regret buying this book.

This book is cheaper in the US through Amazon than it is in the UK!
