Excellent, except it doesn't have real CT/MR images., August 22, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Handbook Of Head And Neck Imaging: Handbooks in Radiology Series, 2e (Paperback)
For the price, you can't beat Harnsberger for Head and Neck Imaging. It has excellent information and diagrams, but it doesn't show real images of patients. If you want that, go up to Som's fine but more expensive textbook.

WHY THIS IS THE BEST THERE IS, November 19, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Handbook Of Head And Neck Imaging: Handbooks in Radiology Series, 2e (Paperback)
While there are no 'pretty CT/MR pictures' in this book, this contains ALL you need to UNDERSTAND H&N imaging. This is not a 'quick fix' book for those approaching oral boards, but a book that explains and simplifies the complexity of head and neck anatomy. Every radiologist viewing H&N films needs to read this text!

Excellent book, June 29, 2008
This review is from: Handbook Of Head And Neck Imaging: Handbooks in Radiology Series, 2e (Paperback)
This compact book is the best small textbook covering the whole of head and neck radiology. Although the text may superficially look rather dry the content is perfect - all the things you really need to know - and very easy to read. The line drawings are very informative.
Overall an exellent book.

The perfect introductory text for head and neck imaging., July 27, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Handbook Of Head And Neck Imaging: Handbooks in Radiology Series, 2e (Paperback)
The perfect text to introduce physicians to the basics of head and neck imaging. Excellent organization throughout. Though lacking the "hi-tech" images of other texts, the schematic drawing are more than adequate in conveying information to the reader in a clear concise manner. Very readable. Perfect for radiology/ENT residents who want a competent introductory text to this field of imaging. Serves as a great basis upon which to build knowledge. Reasonably priced.
