About the Author

Linda K. Fetters has been a freelance indexer for 20 years, specializing mainly in biomedical publications and computer manuals. She is the author of A Guide to Indexing Software. In addition, her articles on indexing software have appeared in several magazines. She has served the American Society of Indexers (ASI) in the positions of corresponding secretary, vice president, and president (1992-1993).
