Aryeh Kaplan has created a brilliant guide to real, Orthodox Judaism. His footnotes and detail and thoroughness are extremely impressive. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Judaism.

His essays thus have the force of confronting the question at hand with real knowledge and understanding.
