This review is from: Handbook of Laboratory Animal Management and Welfare (Paperback)
This book is a very practical, quick read, reviewing appropriate/humane procedures for handling all types of research animals during behavior tests, pre-surgical, surgical, and post-surgical care. Based on British regulations, but applicable anywhere. I would say it should be a required read for anyone who is going to be working with lab animals. Both for the animals' sake and your research results' sake.
