Having recently undergone a physical/spiritual/emotional crisis, I have found it necessary to almost "relearn" the basics of grounding, shielding, etc. As my body has withdrawn from prescription drugs, I first experienced buffering from the world, and then complete exposure. I'm not sure which was worse! Despite several years of training in meditation and related techniques, my experience has made me feel as though I've forgotten everything I ever learned. I needed something to help kick start those skills again. A HANDBOOK FOR LIGHT WORKERS has been on my shelf for several years, and seemed to leap into my hands several weeks ago. With excellent meditation for the New Age/Old Religion student, A HANDBOOK FOR LIGHT WORKERS begins with the basics, building on those acquired skills to allow the student come into balance and alignment with self, nature, and more. Regardless of the path you are working, this is a must read for the novice student as well as the advanced. A HANDBOOK FOR LIGHT WORKERS includes seventy meditations in addition to vital information about each step of meditations. Topics also include auras, chakras, and etheric bodies. While not every light worker will agree with every "fact" presented, the author's opinions are frequently enlightening, and will certainly encourage individual thought. What a relief to find all the basics, and more, all in one source. Sure makes my need to relearn much easier. Very highly recommended. Bright Blessings, Weaver

POWERFUL,
This review is from: A Handbook for Light Workers (Paperback)
This book has very good meditations for the New Age/Old Religion student. I have found the visulisations in this book extreamly powerful. Often leaving me ungrounded for weeks at a time! (maybe because of my Aries nature to do it all right now!) This book is well put togather starting with simple meditations then compunding them into very advanced work. There are lots of new points of view for the person who is spiritual but not sure which "path" they belong to. If I had the oppertunity to join a study/meditation group on this book I would! One of the few book I can pick up high vibrations off of. A must read!Brightest Blessings,

The title of this book was the thing that attracted me to it. Turns out that the book is tremendous. So wonderful, in fact, that I parted with my beloved copy only because it was desired/needed by a dear freind. I ordered another, which I covet and protect, refering to it often. It lives on my bed stand, an arm's reach away should I need to peruse any of it's fascinating pages.
This is superb channeled material. It's rare and wonderful to find such authentic work! David Cousins gives helpful, practical teachings such as meditative techniques to activate your light body, how to deal with negative energies, how to cleanse your computer, pesonal karma, soulmates, earth changes, & much more. A Handbook for Light Workers has been such a positive force that I've told many people about it. I'm hoping that this book can help the masses who are mystified by the global crisis at hand. Copyright date is 1993. The price is a steal.

This is just so you all have one more opinion out there... I have only read a few chapters, the reason is that it is not quite an easy book to read for entertainment. The authors views were from the "white light" perspective, but his personality of writing was not "grabbing" for me. It has been a while since I had the book in front of me so I will do the best to remember... It started out with a couple chapters to gather the authors perspective, then it moves to endless chapters of exercises. Yes the exercises have a good deal of information to describe a situation and how the situation is applicable in our world then it tells you how to deal with the such and such situation. One small example is how to ground energy in a car/plane. One of the problems that this book has was that it seemed to Exude an opinion that as long as your doing white light things that your not in any danger of doing anything improper. So if I got the wrong opinion of the auther then it is clear that I do not agree with how he writes his exercises and if I did understand his standing as it is written in his book then I would disagree with him outright and suggest a more grounded approach to the subject. There are a lot of things to learn from the book though, and I don't want to dismiss it, since I love the white light perspective, I just have to say that if you buy it that I would not expect to make it the only book to base your knowledge on. The one instance that I would suggest it to a person is if they are battling Fear. Since working with white light has no room for fear. Ultimately though I suggest actually dealing with the origin of the fear. Not to get off subject though. Blessed Be

Im a massage therapist, polarity therapist & a buddhist... and I will tell you that this book sounds made up..
but then again, you should never judge someone by their beliefs.. so, I personally did not like this book but someone else might find it helpful. Good luck on your quests!!!

Highly entertaining but possibly for the wrong reasons. This book is fine if you think that the world is highly dangerous and it is necessary to have a specific meditiation for every situation/domestic appliance in life. Not very Christian, not very Buddhist and not very spiritual, but it might do George Bush some good.
