About the Author
Philip L. Skousen, ME has been associted with the process equipment industry for over 25 years, serving in a number of engineering, marketing, and communication management positions. His previous associations include Valtek International, Durco International, Kammer Ventile, Sereg Vannes, and Flowserve Corporation. Mr. Skousen has written or contributed to dozens of technical articles for Chemical Engineering, Chemical Processing, The Valve Magazine, Control Engineering, and Control. He has been an adjunct faculty member at Brigham Young University for over 12 years, teaching marketing and business communication courses. Mr. Skousen is a graduate of Brigham Young University and is professionally accredited through the International Association of Business Communicators.
