My only "how to" book on the subject,

This review is from: The Handbook of Metallic Cartridge Reloading (Hardcover)
Not real sure when I bought this book but it had to be in the early 90's since I started reloading in about 1991 or so.
This book is the one that got me started on the right path evdidently since I have not had any mishaps or explosions while reloading. It explains how to set up your press and dies and the author also gives you his insights from his own experiences. It is also loaded with specifications on both handgun and rifle cartridges. One warning though, this book has been out of print for a while now so you won't find any of the new short magnum specs. But you can easily find those in loading manuals that carry them. This book does however have some load data toward the back from the major manufacturers. I personally never used the data pages since I invested in 3 different manuals in addition to this book. All in all though this is a good primer for the novice reloader. |
