At A Glance Part II,
By A Customer
This review is from: Handbook of Nurse Anesthesia (Paperback)
After reviewing the first edition, I think I would be remiss if I did not review this second edition. As with the first one this is also a must have for all practicing clinical anesthetists. Take to the OR with you, take it on vacation with you. It is very informative and the author seems to now exactly what he is talking about. I have researched this author and find that he is very well thought of and respected in our community. Thank you.

Quick review when you don't have time for textbooks. Helpful reminder of anesthesia implications in the OR. Great for SRNA clinicals.

Knowledge At A Glance,
By A Customer
This review is from: Handbook to Accompany Nurse Anesthesia (Paperback)
I purchased this book and found it extremely useful in my clinical practice. I found the information to be concise and easy to locate in the operating room. I highly recommend this handbook; it is a must have for any practicing anesthetist. I also did not find any of the errors that another reviewer mentions, they should look again.

Unfortunately the book got lost in transit, however they were great to work with and issued a refund right away when I told them the item had not arrived. They were also very courteous.

Ok...so I absolutely love Dr. Nagelhout. He is actually one of my teachers in anesthesia school. However, this edition the index numbers do not match up to the page numbers, so it is very frustrating.
The information contained within the book is very good though. It tells you the need to know information and is great for clinical use.

choc-full-o-errors,

As an anesthesia provider I was looking for a concise handbook to refer to before or during a case. This handbook had great potential...good format, useful information. Unfortunately it has too many errors...errors in calculations, drug dosages, side effects, etc. Important stuff! If you're looking for a good anesthesia handbook, keep looking! This one may get you into trouble.
