Deftly edited by Sanford E. Gerber (Emeritus Professor of Audiology, Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences, University of California, Santa Barbara), The Handbook Of Pediatric Audiology is an anthology of scholarly, professional essays contributed by a variety of learned authors on the topic of hearing impairment among children. Essay topics include, cochlear implants, testing methods, amplification, counseling families of hearing-impaired children, and more. A thoughtful, well-researched, college-level presentation, The Handbook Of Pediatric Audiology is very highly recommended reading for anyone involved in the medical treatment or daily life skills development of a hearing-impaired child.

This review is from: The Handbook of Pediatric Audiology (Paperback)
This book has a lot of great information on pediatrics, however, I feel that it often tangents a little too much. By this, I mean that certain topics move out of the pediatric realm and get too technical. Overall, however, very comprehensive.
