Advanced and extremely practical, this book is a must-have for an image processing professional. It is rather rare positioned between the entry level do-it-yourself literature and theoretic texts not descending to implementation details. The book manages to maintain a near ideal balance between theory insights and practical implementation: all covered techniques are also described in pseudo-algorithmic language, which makes it especially easy to use within your software as a complete piece or a good start point for further development. Accompanying disk contains C code of the algorithms
