For an academic book of its scope and depth, in hardcover, this is an amazing deal, even at full price. It's also a terrific reference and guide to current issues in STS, with a range of review essays and case studies that give a history of the field and illustrate the diversity of contemporary research and debates. I have found it extremely helpful in beginning to teach and plan future research in anthropology of science.
