1.0 out of 5 stars Author reviewing her own book in third person does not impress me., June 2, 2009
By
Book Maven (Cambridge, England) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Handbook for Surviving the Global Financial Crisis (Paperback)
I have read this book in Kindle, and found it middling, and at times condescending towards those of us who are MBA-less. But when I got onto Amazon.com to see what the other readers' opinions were I was surprised, to say the least, to see the author reviewing her own book in the third person from her personal Amazon account. Ms Goldsmith awarded herself smack five points for excellence of writing!

4.0 out of 5 stars THE FINANCIAL CRISIS, January 24, 2010
By

Thank you Barbara I found this book most helpful....any book which constructively provides you with possible solutions must be good for you even if you only get one gem out of it, suffice to say that this book, which is an easy read .....after all it a handbook not a thesis, is excellent value for money.
I would be interested in finding out if you intend to produce more handbooks on money matters in general.....well done keep it up.
