This review is from: A Handbook of Tcm Pediatrics: A Practitioner's Guide to the Care & Treatment of Common Childhood Diseases (Paperback)
Bob Flaws did a good job here, but a problem is that he does not help with dosage/grams used in the formulas he writes about in his book. But otherwise it is a good reference book and has a lot of important and interesting information on pediatrics in TCM, both for lay people and professionals. I would supplment this book with Julian Scott's and Teresa Barlow's Acupuncture in the Treatment of Children (3rd Edition) which is really great and much more detailed than the Handbook. However, as the title says, there is not much info on herbal formulas and other treatment, so these two books together should perhaps be on a bookshelf of every TCM therapist specialising in pediatrics.
