Every new fellow should read this book. It's awesome, short, and straight to the point. It is basic, compact and easy to carry in your coat pocket.

excellent concise resource for residents rotating to vascular rotations and anyone interested in pursuing a career in vascular surgery. Covers all the basics of pathophysiology, diagnosis and management. This edition also has stuff on endovascular and newer perioperative betablocker and statin and the cardiac clearance guidelines. Excellent!

This an excellent book. The content is clearly 5/5 and makes me wish an equivalent book existed for every specialty. Both open and endovascular management are addressed. As one would expect of a short pocket book it is merely introductory. As such it can be easily read from cover-to-cover and doing so would provide an excellent framework from which to attack primary sources. The physical book is tall and narrow. It fits easily into a coat pocket; however, the shape makes for unwieldy one handed reading. Also the typesetting is not ideal. It is legible but is not a small enough book to justify the crowded typography. Bottom Line: publishing issues aside, highly recommended.

Invaluable pocket reference,

This handbook, in earlier editions by Hallett,Brewster, and Darling, now moves forward with it's founding great clinical advice mixed now with updates on endovascular care. Rasmussen, Clouse, and Tonnessen have done a great job with this gem of a tradition in vascular care.
