I purchased this book a decade ago and to this day it's still with me.
It's of good length, not overly simple or too detailed, covering many basics regarding wilderness survival. Things like basic ourdoor orientation, how to preserve your body heat, how to make fire, basic map and compass reading skills, are covered in this book. Everytime I go on a camping trip, I took it with me. Now it's a permanent item in my BOB kit. |
