Met Dan at FOWD 2009 and he is a great guy in general, very humble yet amazingly knowledgeable. This DVD accompanies the book flawlessly and since I am a visual learner I pick up more from DVD's and video tutorials than books anyway.

I don't really know how to review or rate this book and DVD. I guess it's ok. The css that the author is talking about, you can find online for free. There was nothing difficult or new for me to learn. I have purchased many books from Amazon and so far my peferred choices of books are the missing manuals, wrox, sam publishing. My sub choices are Packt Publishing. If your going too teach yourself web design like have been doing for the past year, I would get the first three books and then figure out your weak points and purchase books from there on out. But, I'm know currently enrolled at Cincinnati State for Computer Programming/Database/Web design.
