Handel played as it should be!, July 12, 2008

Once you hear baroque flute music played on a Traverso (18th century flute) you can never go back. The modern flute playing Baroque music is like playing the Classical Guitar music of Fernando Sor with a Flying "V" and a Marshall Stack on 11. (see "This is Spinal Tap"). Having played both a modern flute and a Traverso myself I have sold the modern flute and concentrated on the beauty of the Traverso. Hear Handel as it should sound and in the skilled hands of Lisa Beznosiuk the Traverso sings.
