Product Description

This wonderful brass telescope is wrapped in leather and is 10" long when fully extended. It is modeled after old-style telescopes, making it the perfect fit for your pirate collection. The telescope retracts down to fit into its own wooden box.

Galileo is credited with inventing the first refracting telescope. Through his understanding of how light passes through a lens, he was able to construct a device that focused on an image and enabled the user to see an object as though it were brighter, clearer or closer.

The magnification of this brass telescope is 3x.

i re'cd. 7" telescope in error but it works great! still waiting for a credit for the difference.the compass is a winner for the money!!

This small telescope was needed for a special presentation in front of a corporate audience. The quality of the item was excellent and showed very well under the circumstances. In addition, we had short notice to obtain it and didn't know if we'd be able to have it delivered in time. I made a special request of the seller, and the telescope arrived in only a couple of days, well in advance of the day it was to be used in the presentation. I give this vendor the highest recommendation and would order from them again any time.
