good buttons, but byline is a lie,

This review is from: Handicapped Remote Control replaces up to 4 standard remotes and can be used with any combination of TVs, VCRs and cable boxes. Touch-sensitive lighted keypad for operation in the dark. Large ¾" buttons and bold easy-to-read characters make remote simple to use. Features code retention for easy programming, will not lose information during a battery change. Extra large frame is difficult to misplace and easy to grasp. 5½"W x 8½"L x 2½"D. Latex free.
The buttons are easy to use for people with poor vision, and I would imagine for the manually handicapped as well. And yes, it is easy to grasp: it's a good design. But the byline "can be used with any combination" is a lie: this is not a universal remote. It only supports a limited number of devices, and if yours is not on the list, you're sunk. AFAIK, the only way to tell if it supports your setup is to buy it, try it out, and return it when it doesn't work. (And of course it won't support your DVR.) I have yet to find a universal remote with buttons like this one.

My husband is handicapped and I thought he would like this but the buttons are too stiff for him to push. Also it does not do all the functions of the cable controller. If you have Comcast for your cable, the remote codes you will need probably are Motorola.
