Not a positive solution., June 11, 2000
This review is from: How to Handle Difficult People (Paperback)
The book explains how to tell unwanted people to buzz-off but fails to give any resolution to solve the problem. I don't believe telling somebody to go away or buzz-off is going to solve any issues in a working environment. The book has nothing more than cheap pointless comments that are more than likely going to make thing worse than they already are. I disregarded the book before I got to the 9th page. There are other books like "How to Win Friends & Influence People" by Dale Carnegie that do in fact deal with issues of dealing with unfriendly people and turning them around to become friends. Telling somebody to buzz-off is not the answer. It's a poor book in every aspect.

Mr. Howard helped me to see that I don't have to associate with much of mankind. So often you are around people that just drain you of your energy and you don't understand why you're exhausted. Read this wonderful little book for life changing answers and much more. This is a treasure.
