There were a lot of different replica swords out there ranging from $20 - $120. I decided to go towards the high end hoping that I would get a sword that not only looked decent but felt 'genuine' when you held it. This sword definitely accomplishes that. It feels very solid when you swing it around (be careful). I'm not planning on bashing it against anything, but I think that it could take it.

This item is reasonably priced for the quality of the sword itself. I know when I got mine I almost felt like I could gracefully slice Japanese gangsters into mince-meat with it! The sword is absolutely authentic, so if you have any doubts, be assured now that the sword has a Ray-skin leather grip handle and sword cleaning kit too. (The stand is pretty nice too) I recommend this item to all Kill Bill fans out there who wish to further envelope themselves as a die-hard fan of the series or even to those who are looking for a cool sword to show off in their house!

The handmade sword is just beautiful. The blade is extremely well made and very sharp. Everything about the sword is high quality.

Sword looks very good and feels good swinging.
It's a nice deal for a replica but since there are small details that separate it from being a completely accurate replica it get's 4 stars.

I bought the cheaper version aswell (25 bucks or so)
The cheaper one is a great value but if you want a quality replica it's definitely worth spending more.

if you been looking for the real deal hanzo sword, look know further, this is the real deal. 1060 high carbon steel real leather wrap real ray skin grip and comes nice and sharp. you wont be sorry.

The worst katana ever bought. I don't live in the US, so it took me some time to wait for it to arrive to Ecuador, what a big dissapointment did I a get when opening the box and to realize that there was no Hattori Hanzo stand at all (at least that's what amazon shows in their web page), without mentioning a very awful lucking of the Saya (scabbard), the painting of the details are really bad. Also the habaki has some scracthes and it is a little separated of the hamachi. I don't know if Amazon checks the condition of the products they deliver, but anyway I had to buy the sword stand separately and the maintenace kit too. And the worst part of all is that my katana came with a metal cilindric support attached to the tsuka so it can be hang onto something. If you are not looking for a perfect replica of the bride's sword this could be a good choice but I would not pay $75 for it because again.

I had a high expectation when I ordered this 'high end' katana at 59.99 and 9.99 tax while I could get two Katanas (Both Bill's and Bride's) under $30. My expectation was in both quality and beauty of the Katana.

Let me explain why I gave 1 star. The blade is strong enough and looks ok. its not sharp (Like the cheap ones but I dont mind). The sign of Bride is inscribed, looks ok but does not look great. But the real poor part is the handle and cover. The sign of Hatori hanzo looks worse then the $15 replica's . (You know my guests will look at the handle and the cover not the blade). Its leather but common plastic looks better. The sword looks old and faded.

I have read in other reviews the blade is sharp and it included a nice stand. But I was not that lucky. When I contacted them to send me a stand at least because it was in the picture, they said its not part of the product. I got too angry but dont have the time to go through all the hassles to get a full refund.

One more thing, they cheat with shipping cost. Its actually a 4lb package that should cost around $5 for shipping according to Amazon policy but they charge $10.

This is my THE worst buying experience in Amazon.

IF YOU WERE LUCKY AS WAS I TO HAVE RECEIVED THE SWORD WITH THE STAND THAT HAVE HATTORI HANZO ON THE STAND YOU WOULD BE PLEASE WITH THIS SWORD. IT IS SHARP, BALANCED AND REQUIRED JUST A LITTLE WORK ON MY PART TO BRING IT TO FINE SHAPE. I AM DEFINITELY NOT DISAPPOINTED WITH MY PURCHASE OF THIS SWORD. SOME REPLICA BRIDE'S SWORD AND INCREDIBLY LACKING IN QUALITY SO PURCHASING THEM IS A RISK. IF THE DTAND SAY "HATTORI HANZO" THAT IS A WORTHWHILE PURCHASE UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A HIGHER QUALITY SWORD FOR HEAVY COMBAT.

After looking through all the lower priced Kill Bill replicas for under 100 dollars I found this one to be the best. This is a Ten-Ryu sharpened carbon steel blade with a leather wrapped real ray skin handle, and authentic black Kill Bill tsuba, and a beautiful saya. Don't be fooled by the pictures it doesn't come with that stand, but has a sword bag. The quality of this sword is far beyond what is expected for the price. Don't waste your money on the other lower priced Kill Bill swords because they don't even look right. I bought the $45 Bill's sword from Musashi and they got the sword all wrong, however it was a great Katana, but not an accurate Hanzo Hattori. This one gets almost every detail down and makes a great functional replica for $50-$60. If you are looking for the complete Kill Bill set you will need the Bride Sword, Bill's Sword, Budd's Sword, and Oren-Ishi's Snowflake Shirasaya Sword. All these can be found on Amazon fairly easily, but be sure to buy the Ten-Ryu blades for the Hattori Hanzo set, unless you plan spend to over $100 dollars on each sword which then u should buy Musashi, and lastly Hanzo Steel makes the best Snowflake Shirasaya Katana. Be sure to use a samurai sword cleaning kit on this sword because carbon steel can rust.

Being an avid Kill Bill fan I was looking for a high-quailty sword without going with the more cheaper options of swords Amazon sells.
I couldn't be happier with this one. It's solid, sharp, and just looks and feels great. The Hattori Hanzo stand adds a very nice touch too.
I highly recommend this to any Kill Bill fan looking for a top quality replica for display.
