I got this product for my step-granddaughter (she's 13) for Christmas. She absolutely loves it - she is able to stand there with a round brush and "straighten" her hair as she blows it dry. I'm going to order one for myself now.

We bought this to replace an earlier model that we had that was decent quality. We thought this was the same thing. However, it is a cheaper version of the original. This stand is terrible. Reasons - 1/The clamp that holds the hair dryer is too big and not enough tension. 2/ the extension rod that extends the height up has never worked. 3/ The bottom base stand/weight is too light to support the dryer if the dryer's weight is not directly above. Therefore, the stand just falls over. 4/ The bendable part of the support rod is so light duty that it wont support a heavy dryerc - so the entire stand falls over. Terrible item. We are shopping around to replace this item but dont want to buy on-line for fear of receiving the same item in different packing.

I think this product would be much improved if the base were made much heavier. It falls over easily. I'm going to have to rig something up to hold the base down. It will be wonderfully handy if I can get this solved.

I read several reviews on this product where people complained about it not being very sturdy or that it wouldn't adjust. I thought I would take a chance on it and I have not had any problems. It is very sturdy and there are two different heights to use. I have been unable to blow dry my hair for months because of shoulder bone spurs. This item is terrific!! I can now blow dry and style my hair with no problem at all. I absolutely love it and plan on getting one for my mother soon. I recommend this for anyone who has trouble holding a blow dryer for any length of time and I also recommend it for anyone who would just like to have both hands free for styling. I guarantee that once you get used to it you will be able to style your hair as good as your stylist could. Great product!

This was a gift for the wife, who recently had shoulder surgery. I a "nut shell" I unpacked it (1st clue)made of cheap material and the base has little weight, assembled it, we tried to make it work even with helpful suggestions that came with it in the instructions(2nd clue) of being cheaply made, if it has to be "rigged" to work, it doesn't work. Lastly, the weight her hair dryer (its' a CHI big red heavy thing), the goose neck could not support. She tried it twice, the second time it fell, I was told to "get it out of here!" It was disassembled and put back in the box. Total time out the box about 33 minutes.

I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. In this case, for $15.00 ($10.00 shipping), I was expecting a less-than-quality product that would probably work as advertised. In the end, that is what I had - though not before taking it apart, redesigning a poorly engineered bracket and ultimately gluing it all back together. But don't let me discourage you too much. At least it works.

I have dexterity problems and also cannot use the hairbrush and hold a hair blower the way a stylist can (Now really, WHO can?) This has been great to stand on my vanity table. Just wish I had invented it !!

I can't live without this! It is fantastic for me. I use if on the bathroom counter so I can quickly style my hair with a round brush. I had one of these that lasted bout 1 1/2 years, and unfortunately the plastic clip broke, but for this price I'll buy another. (I hate though, that I have to recycle the one that broke). I am still satisfied with the quality, and I think the plastic large clip just gave way from use.

I am blow drying after every wash!!!Usually, I elude to blow drying since it hurts my shoulders; my hair is thick,long and naturally curly and I like to wear it straight, so it's hard work to blow dry it that way. Before I got this, I would let my hair air dry most of the time and hide the unruly natural curls by clipping them up because I dreaded the task. It is so much easier now that I have this product! The stand is very sturdy and easily adjusted for height/angle. My husband and 7 year old son assembled it in less than 5 min. I am really greatful to have this styling tool, I am so glad there is an easier way to blow dry.

I use the stand on the sink countertop where it works great! It really doesn't go high enough from the ground (I am tall) but I like it better on the counter anyway. This is a good product that does just what it is supposed to do.
