The clip light provides good light, however, the design of the battery holder places it in a position where you would normally grab the device and remove it from the hat. In many cases I end up poping off the battery cover and the 2 batteries fall out. Installing the clip and removing the clip from the hat is rather awkward as well.

I would not buy this product again.

Amazon service was great as usuall but product is junk. Installed batteries and light would not work. Re-installed batteries several times and finially did get light to turn on once but it would not turn off until I removed batteries, then could never get it to turn on again. I suspect the switch is bad. Don't buy this product!

It's the best invention in the world. It keeps your hands free, yet that light is everywhere you look and is everywhere it needs to be. Love it...

I love having this on campouts and general night activities. The lights last a long time, too. All you have to do is clip it on your cap and you're set.

Good thing it was only a couple of dollars. Didn't work at all, and was a very cheap design. But as I said, it didn't cost much.

It did not work. Cheaply made. Put in batteries in every possible configuration and it would not turn on. I gave it one star because you can't give zero star reviews, but it really is a zero.

this might be the best little light i have ever used. i have to find my way across the pasture in the dark, then find 4 horses, before i actually turn on a light. this hands free little gadget makes life easier. you are not going to see a long distance, but you can certainly see where your feet are going. great idea. one reviewer said the clips are easy to break, so i atached it to the cap very carefully & haven't had any problems.

Love this item! At first I thought it kind of cheap looking when it arrived, but it worked great! I love that it has the blinking light, I didn't think I would use it until I had to run in the early morning fog and it was great to know I was easier to see to the drivers going by.

This light clip-on clip broke off the very first time I tried to put it on my hat. It is much larger than other hat lights that I have purchased in the past. It is made of cheap plastic. Don't waste your money - buy a different brand!

The light clips very nicely to the visor of a baseball cap. It's very easy to turn on and off using the small button on the bottom of the lamp, and is bright enough to light the path ahead. This is a well made and extremely useful hands-free light.

December 2010 - Well, I've downgraded this item to one star. It lasted about one year. The on/off switch stopped working - so I threw the thing into the electronics recycling bin. It's a good concept, but a very poor quality product.
