Product Description

This ergonomic keyboard wrist rest soothes aching hands. Beads provide gentle massaging action, while the rest itself helps you maintain a comfortable wrist position, even during heavy computer use. At 17.5 inches long, it works with most keyboards.

I had switched a couple of years back to a wave style keyboard that I really like but that made it pretty impossible to use a standard wrist rest since the front is curved. This bean-bag style bag is great as it assumes any shape needed. Couldn't be happier - and I have rheumatoid arthritis in both hands and wrists. You sometimes need to smooth out the "beans" as you'll end up with indentations where your wrists are, but I find it to be an advantage since my wrists change size and shape with flare ups anyway! Very soft flannel, too. Now I use my old gel pad wrist support to cushion my feet when the toes flare up! Or maybe I'll cut it in half and put one half each on the chair arms for when the elbows flare up...hmmm hadn't thought of that until just now!

I bought this item, not looking for a keyboard-rest, but a wrist-rest for my mouse. I am very pleased with how it feels on my wrist. It can be flipped over, from one side to the other for a different feel...yes it was built that way. It has a more 'plush' feel on one side, but slight firmer on the other. Frankly, both sides are fairly plush and I am satisfied with the feel of both.

Note that while this item definitely can be considered 'ergonomic', it is not pre-shaped to fit exactly on an ergonomic keyboard - imagine it is a long black/gray soft tube sock, filled with squishy beaded material. It can be shaped (but not in any rigid fashion) to more-or-less match the contours of the keyboard, desk, or other object you place it on.

PROS
-Comfortable
-Shape-able
-Two sides with differing firmness
-Construction appears to be standard quality (not cheap)

Note:
-Being nit-picky here, but after resting my wrist in one place for more than 10-15 minutes, the beads contour around my wrist. Sometimes I enjoy the 'mould' but when I don't, it is as easy as 'fluffing' it so it regains its original shape.

I have a mechanical keyboard which is set fairly high up off the desk. This wrist rest is too high to use all the time. I tend to use it when I'm spending a considerable amount of time typing and remove it when I'm going to spend a considerable amount of time gaming so that it doesn't get in the way.

The quality of the wrist rest is fine. It shipped in a cardboard cutter with a plastic tie around the rest itself. It doesn't seem to attract too much cat hair and it is easy to clean when something gets spilled on it.

I've been having lots of pain on my hands, I couldn't stand being on the computer and I needed to!! So I got this by recommendation from my father's secretary and it's amazing! Relaxing and my hands feel a lot better.

As far as wrist rests go, this one is a little bit too tall. It makes my hands have to reach down to the keyboard. Also, when you rest your wrists, as it is a bean bag-type, you create indentations of your wrists, which makes it difficult to reposition your hands as you type.

First off, the texture of this wrist support is great. It's covered in a jersey-style cotton material that is really comfortable and breathes much better than the typical plastic/neoprene stuff that other supports use.

It's filled with beads, which is nice because you can squish it down or rearrange the filling however you like. I don't use an ergo keyboard, but it's nice to know you can make this support conform to whatever shape you need.

I'm really pleased with this product, and plan on getting the mouse version as well.

I bought this rest a year ago and it's still like new. It's great for keyboards that aren't straight because it molds around the edge. I took off the plastic rest to my kb and use this instead, and even with the height it works great. If the filling gets bunched it's just one smoothing motion with a hand and it's back to level again.
