I did not like these straws at all. My water tasted of metal, no matter how I cleaned the straws. I'm glad Amazon allowed me to return the product. Most of the time, Amazon's customer service is amazing. I bought a glass straw instead and love it!!!!

I gave the product 2 stars, because it does it's job, and because I really wanted to like it. I did get some advice from another stainless steel product's CS, about the metal taste. That is to try soaking the product in vinegar or beer for one hour, to get rid of the metal taste. I'm not sure if all stainless steel products that are metal-flavored can withstand the acidity of vinegar, but you could give it a try. :)

I like the straws but especially like having the little brush with the set. I use it with the other reusable straws I bought from Handy House, too. Great idea. The brush is also good for cleaning the kids sippy cups.
