I originally purchased 3 Fruit of the Loom t-shirts from another site...big mistake...the large looks like a medium and the material is very thin..over all..bad quality (plus I'm trying to return them with no help from the site). HANES..this is a different story..excellant quality, a large is a large, the material is heavy and very soft. The seller responds to any questions immediatly and the order was received before the due date...If you want an excellant t-shirt..this is it...and the seller is easy to deal with. Thanks Amazon for having this product, and your business practices, and thanks to the seller for good customer relations.

This is an excellent quality heavyweight tee; the only one I've found heavier is by Champion (7 oz. v. 6.1 for the Hanes). However, Hanes has many more colors.

Hanes Adult Beefy Tee shirts are terrific; their stitching is also a bit better than very similar Tee shirts made by other manufacturers. These shirts wear well on me--at least for now until I lose some weight; but then again I can order these in smaller sizes, too! They are comfortable in warm weather; and the double needle sleeves and hem prove they are made to last. They do last, too! I also like the shoulder to shoulder taping--it makes the shirt one of the better made Tee shirts out there. The 100% cotton feel is great.

Hanes makes these shirts in all types of sizes--all the way from small to 6X large! In a world where big and tall people have fewer choices, unfortunately, Hanes provides them with a good T-shirt that is clearly good quality.

The pricing and availability table is easy to read; and of course women can wear these fine tee shirts just as well as the men can. Great!

There are two things to keep in mind when buying this Tee shirt, however. First, as of the time I am writing this, you do need to check the "pricing and availability chart." It's not hard--just click on the link above. As I write this, colors and sizes in stock are more available than they have been in the past. Second, although these shirts are machine washable, I would wash these shirts with garments that have similar colors to avoid any color dye from these shirts bleeding onto your other garments and towels.

Overall, these Tee shirts are very reasonably priced for the high amount of quality control that goes into each shirt and the very broad range of shirt sizes. I highly recommend them for men and women during warm weather; they will be comfortable to lounge in when you're indoors, too. Although they are quite similar to the equivalent Tee shirts by other manufacturers, I find that Hanes' stitching and fabric is slightly superior and therefore a slightly better buy.

I've had a beefy-tee shirt for 2 years now. I've worn it rock climbing, running and during a lot of different exercises so it get's washed very often, but even after 2 years of beating the shirt is still as vibrant as ever and just as thick.

I like that it comes in solids and have a great cut. I'm definitely buying more of these!

Beefy-Tees are my favorite all around tee-shirt. I have a stocky build and the XL fits great. Beefy-Tees are substantial without being too bulky--great for layering or wearing alone. Great color selection.

These are the exact same shirts except with no pocket.

The rave reviews are not warranted, as the material is a lot

thinner than it used to be. See the reviews on the pocketed T.

They are not as kind as these.

I think the difference may be that those that like no pocket use

the T shirt for lounging, and not working.

If you are going to use a T shirt for working in, you usually want

a pocket to carry notes/keys/parts, etc. and you want the T shirt

thick.

I was looking at other shirts that were cheaper then these that had no reviews and I was skeptical on buying them because I didn't want a lightweight t-shirt. I wanted a nice big heavy cotton shirt and these shirts are exactly what I wanted and at such a great price I was able to order 7 of them. As soon as I read from other reviews that this was indeed a heavy shirt I ordered right away. I'm always a little hesitant to order clothes off the internet. But, I could not find any shirts that were at such a steal as these. I was not disappointed is what I'm getting at I suppose. :D

Very heavy and high-quality feeling T-shirt. I own about 20+ of them. If your looking for that...with a cheap price?! Look no further.

These shirts are the only ones that can handle the perspiration brought on by desert heat in the Middle East. We work in 135 Farenheit weather, on an aircraft maintenance line, with the sun beating down on us. The shirts get washed all the time and no holes appear after months of abuse and the color doesn't fade.

I would recommend these to any man or woman who needs a quality shirt that will handle a hard day's work.

i bought 7 of these to use for my team jersey (iron printing our logo on it). I totally suggest it for you guys if you have the same purpose...cheap and very good quality
