** Warning: This is review is kind of a downer. I just wanted to forewarn you. **

This is a cheap version of the good old bikini undies I bought from Hanes for years. I won't buy these again. The fabric is SO cheap you can actually read print through it (no, I didn't try it...but a pair fell out of the laundry basket after the very first wash, and landed on a magazine. I just happened to notice you can, in fact, read the print and see the pictures through the fabric!), and there is no "band" across the top. I don't like binding bands, but I *do* like enough elastic that they don't constantly roll over...and over...and over. Nor do I care for undies that have loose elastic - nothing like having saggy undies at the end of the day! Another thing I also noticed is that the previous version was awesome at staying out of my crack (apparently I have no couth) - this version does not. I've tried each pair in the package...they've gone in the trash at the end of the day. I'm extremely thrifty...but I couldn't be convinced to keep these.

Bottom Line: I would prefer to go commando in wool pants than wear these again. (No, I don't own wool pants...or even know anyone who does. It's a pretty good reference point, though...don't you think?)

I've bought these assortment packs in stores, so I knew that I may not love every color or design sent to me. Yes, my assortment had a couple of brown/pink ones. And I don't mind and expect a few white ones. And nobody sees my panties anyway, so I don't care about color or design for every day use.

What does bother me is I've always had sensitive skin, and over the years, synthetic fibers bothers me. Some of these (it looks like some of the patterned ones) have 25% poly in them. I think I noticed that when I bought them, but I didn't realize 25% would bother me so much. The ones with polyester make my skin hot and irritated, since they're tight to my body underneath another layer. So that is my mistake - be aware if you also have sensitive skin.

the package and web page may say 100% cotton..but it is a LIE. if you look at the tag on the underwear itself..it says 75% cotton and rest is polyester. i am very sensitive and can not have other than cotton on my lady parts. I am extremely disappointed with hanes and fruit of the loom. it is call FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. SHAME ON THE CORPs.

DO NOT ORDER these if you want a nice set of 10 colors - the fit is fine - I ordered online because it's not always easy to find a set of size 5 and I wanted a set of COLORS - - i didn't look closely enough - you actually get 4 pairs of white hidden behind NOT blue or purple - NO, one normal pink, one normal black (that's 6) and then FOUR combos of BROWN - who likes that? Brown and pink PLAID - yuck - Brown and pink stripe - Pink with BROWN FLOWERS - are they dead? and Brown, pink and white checked - not remotely feminine - so it's not assorted colors that girls will like - I won't buy any more HANES stuff EVER

After buying and enjoying the Hanes Cotton 6-pack bikinis in size 9, I decided to try these. They are not nearly as comfy as the 6-pack bikinis, and they do not fit as well (too small after laundering). The colored fabric is 25% polyester, which I did not notice in the description before I ordered them (since they were advertised in the title as "cotton", I figured it was okay. Next time, I will check more closely.) I also did not pay attention to the price: $18 for 10 pair, vs $15 for 6 pair of the ones I got first. I should have known that the quality would be different. The 6-pack panties are much more like the ones I bought several years ago, and I would recommend buying those instead.

I took them on vacation and the seams all came undone. Landed up throwing 4 of them away because of their condition. Hanes usually is a good product. Don't know what happened this time

It had been a while since I bought Hanes bikini underwear because my old set had lasted a while. I was very disappointed to see how this product has changed. The material is much thinner now -- and not likely to last as long -- and I was shocked to see that two of the items had frayed elastic even before I wore them or washed them. I wouldn't mind paying a higher price if this product could be returned to its original form, which was very high quality.

They washed up well. The colors are bright and cheerful. I was expecting a wider band but they are just as comfortable as ones I've purchased in the past. Did I mention how pretty the colors and prints are. I got only four white in the package. Perfect!

When I bought these before the fabric was softer and the fit was a bit larger. They fit but a tiny bit snug at the top. The fabric seems thinner too. I stopped buying Fruit of the Loom because of the quality; I hope this doesn't happen with Hanes.

It think what surprised me most is how soft they are. I always buy cotton undies but these seem especially comfy. The array of colors is nice too. They look exactly like the pic.
