So, I had to replace my personal copy of this CD about 3 times. My friends kept "borrowing" it then telling me, "This stuff is too good to give back!" Granian is an amazing band. Hang around is full of energy and creativity. 'Far from saved' was featured on Dawson's Creek in 2000. I really love 'Whole again'. It has infectious lyrics that I just can't stop singing to. This is acoustic rock in it's finest form. Don't pass up this band live either! You'll walk away energized and craving more. Also check out Granian's first CD "Without Change". It's great stuff! If you like bands like Pat McGee Band, Dave Matthews Band, From Good Homes, Rusted Root, Guster, Mike Corrado Band, and the likes.. you may very well enjoy Granian as well! ~ Gina

Granian is really just an amazing band, and this album demonstrates it really well...it has everything you could want in a classic album, and i seriously think it shoudl be a staple in everyone's cd collection.....if you like music along the lines of john mayer, vetical horizon, guster, and so on, then you will pretty much freak out over granian. hope u dig it!

Imagine Vertical Horizon meets Live meets Matchbox Twenty. Ordinarily I think it's in very bad form to submit a review of an album and compare it to another artist's work, but GRANIAN is simply unlike anything you've ever heard before. Even comparing them to other bands doesn't do them justice, but it can give you a ballpark idea of what you'll be listening to. A blending of the purest, finest sounds in pop rock today, frontman Garen Gueyikian has written 12 energetic, heartfelt, catchy tunes that just make for a unique, fun-filled listening experience. GRANIAN's explosive guitar strumming, tricky rhythms, and poppy bass riffs perfectly compliment beautiful sing-along lyrics. The one down side to this album is that it is VERY addicting. Don't expect to be listening to anything else for a couple of days because you'll only want to be listening to this SUPERB album. But that's a down side worth overlooking, isn't it?

This relatively small time band is putting out music that is a must listen for any acoustic-rock enthusiast. Fans of Matchbox 20, Dave Mathews Band, Goo Goo Dolls, and the like must pick this cd up.

This is the best "undiscovered" group that I have had the privilege to listen to. Their music is original; they are great musicians and performers. I do not understand why they have not achieved at least the recognition that some lesser groups have, although I suspect that it is because they are on an independent label. If you like Five for Fighting, Lifehouse, Train, or similar groups you will like these guys. If you like this disk try "On My Own Two Feet" by the same group (I have not yet listened to their first disk, but I will be purchasing it soon).

Granian's follow-up CD displays some of their best work yet. This is one of the few discs I can play over and over, from start to finish (no fillers) and never get sick of. It's filled with original, catchy melodies that you won't forget. If you haven't heard this band yet, think of a cross between early Vertical Horizon, Guster and a little DMB thrown in, only better! It's just a matter of time before these guys start to get the recognition they deserve..so catch them now while you can still see them in small venues. And pick up their discs, they are awesome!

"Hang Around" is by far Granian's best effort to date. The production of the songs on this album are fantastic. The vocal harmonies are so sweet to the ear. If you are a fan of good music and like to get up and dance this is a must have. Also check out "Without Change", Granian's first release. Enjoy!

I don't know how to describe it in words, but this guy's got an amazing voice! His songs are impressive, without sounding all alike as I often find. You really can't go wrong...enjoy.

Both of Granians CD's are tight. I can't believe they are not known all around the US and can not wait for their next album to come out. Everyone should own Granian's CD's.

I have been following Grainian with my brother since they first started. My first concert was a Grainian concert @ the High school where my brother was going. I LOVE Grainian...they are the best....i make all my friends listen to them whenever they are over. I would definitly recommend this CD and all of their CD's to anyone who loves music~
