this cd is regretfully out of print and the group has broken up but this is great stuff that i am glad i gave a listen to. this is chastity bono leading this group on a mark hudson produced journey. i am a huge sonny & cher fan together and seperatly but i can't really say chastity sounds like either one of them, she has her own sound and style. this is a modern sounding hippie trip that is more influenced by sonny's dna than cher's but it left me wanting alot more. if chastity ever decides to sing again i will buy it for sure. the price of this music is dirt cheap so buy and listen if you love it you really get a bargain & if not you lose nothing. rock on chastity!

I wondered what would have happened to Chaz Bono had his music career taken off like Sonny & Cher's. As Chastity, she had a nice singing voice and this group has a great, 1970s rock 'n roll sound. I really like this album and it is a shame that they didn't produce more before the group broke up. It seems so strange now that its lead female singer no longer exists. It would be interesting if Chaz Bono would ever consider a recording career. I would think this might become a collectible since Chastity has now become Chaz, or for those who like Sonny & Cher.

I purchased this album after reading Chaz Bono's Transition book. I have never been so impressed on the talent he had. He sounded like a young, smooth version of his mother Cher. If want a great album with each song as good as the one before it, buy this album. To me it sounds like a female version of ELO and the Beatles.

i have been a huge cher, and sonny & cher fan since 1965. when the ceremony cd came out i should have investigated it, but didn't. i had in my mind that i wouldn't like it, heard it was goth and punk, and something to do for a celebrity child. was i wrong! what a great album!! so like wine, i was able to let it "age" almost 20 years before listening. all it took to make me curious was to watch the video at you tube for "could've been love". kind of a cross between chrissie hynde and wilson phillips. but the album has more of a late 60's early 70's feel. elaborate vocals. lots of beatles and electric light orchestra string and bass viola flourishes. tidbits of "i am the walrus" and "strawberry fields", scattered indian instruments, big booming drum work, bagpipes, horn sections. good time sunshiney background vocals mixed with some psychedelic touches. mark hudson of the hudson brothers, who had their own 70's hits, produced this album. and chastity/chaz bono co-wrote every song, except one, along with band members and mark hudson. i see everyone has given this cd a great review, but so few have heard it.

I never realized how much Chastity (Chaz) sounded like Cher! Lots of talent on this CD. Very enjoyable! Highly recommended.
