I really like this clock. I have just the place for it, where the two sides are visible from my kitchen and from the living room. It was well packaged. My husband traced a template on a piece of paper to position the screws on the wall, and mounting was a breeze. There was a problem when I hung it up, though. The chain had a twist in it, and I couldn't get it out. The chain links are soldered shut, so it wasn't possible to open a link and straighten the chain. This caused the clock to not hang straight - it hung at an angle to the bracket.

I contacted the shipper, and they sent a replacement right away, and also arranged for a FedEx pickup on the old one. They were very nice and easy to work with. The new clock hangs straight and looks great. I'm completely satisfied with the quality of this item.

UPDATE - ABOUT ONE YEAR LATER...one side of the clock quit working. I contacted the supplier about a replacement for the "works" on that side, but they could not assist me with that. Seemed like they purchase the clock from some other supplier and re-sell them, Now I have a clock that only works on one side.

Very nice quality. Very heavy. Face has a little blue on it. Wood is a little darker than pictured. More of a dark cherry.

This is a beautiful clock and appears to be very well made. Looks great hanging. Larger than I expected-but I love it.

This is a Christmas gift. It's so big we cannot wrap it up. The box it came in was crushed in several places. Overall, though, the clock is really pretty neat, but VERY much larger than we expected.
