The Z-Hanger solved my problem for a very heavy plate glass, beveled edge mirror that kept ripping molly bolts through the sheetrock. Easy to install and rock solid.

I used this Z-Hanger for a large bar mirror that is heavy oak with glass shelves, and it worked perfectly. The product came quickly and was easy to install.

First off, these are great hangers and I would buy them again. However, the 30" version can only screw/anchor into 2 studs because it's 3" too short to anchor into a third stud! I had to hang a 85 pound 8' wide X 3.5' high framed mirror in a bathroom. I couldn't get comfortable knowing only 2 screws were into studs with the remaining holes using their drywall screws. So I bought another 30" hanger so I could have a total of 4 screws into studs. They rate the 30" hanger for 300 pounds, but I feel the weakest link may be the 1/2" drywall in a humid bathroom. If I had been able to get a 3rd screw in a stud (say with a 34" hanger), I would have been comfortable with the installation and I wouldn't have bought a second hanger.....maybe it's intentional to get you to buy more.
Discovered after the fact: If you're like me and prefer to screw into studs instead of drywall and need a longer length than 30", they can be ordered from the Hangman website and come in sizes 48", 59", 72" and 96" versions. It isn't as cost efficient or convenient as ordering from Amazon though.

They were used to hang two quite heavy mirrors with enamel frame. Actually work sof art. They are well supported. I feel confident of the mounting.

I used this to mount 100lb mirror on the wall. I used 2 of them, and staggered them so I can mount it on the studs in the wall. Living in earthquake country, I feel they'll hold with no problem (but I did add a furniture strap just in case it falls, it won't travel far from the wall).
