William Lingwood is noted for his work in cookbooks and magazines, including Food and Travel and in the bestselling book Cool Cocktails.

BEN REED was named Cocktail Bartender of the Year in 1997. Former bar manager of the Met Bar and Woody’s in London he was then appointed Executive Director of IPBartenders and is now a freelance consultant working with premium brands  and top bars and hotels. Ben has made many TV appearances. He has been featured in a wide range of publications, including Vogue, Red, and GQ. His other books include The Art of the Cocktail (also published by Ryland Peters & Small).

Pros: I found it very in depth for the subject. I expected something that looks like my college roommate put together. While the drink list is massive, I liked that it delved into stranger methods (many I never heard of).

Cons: Don't need this book to find out the best cure is precautionary measures. Since a hangover is essentially dehydration, chugging water is the best prevention for awful mornings. I use to get hangovers off 1 beer, now I slam a water with every drink and even though it's a buzzkill when drunk morning me is always happy I did.
