About the Author
Henry Winkler is an actor, producer and director. He is probably most famous for his role as the Fonz in the 1970s US television sitcom, Happy Days. But if you ask him what he is most proud of, he would say, "Writing the Hank Zipzer books with my partner, Lin Oliver." He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Stacey, their three children and two dogs. Lin Oliver is a writer and producer of movies, books and television programmes for children. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Alan, and their three children.

Hank Zipzer is a creative and likable kid. So why, oh why, does his every effort get messed up? There's a good reason, a learning difference that has gone unnoticed. The book's only glitch seems to be characters who throw out witty quips like 10-year-olds going on 25. NIAGARA FALLS, OR DOES IT? portrays itself as a child's book, but perhaps its real targets are adults, those most capable of helping a child who always seems to fail, despite his best efforts. Henry Winkler's presentation is enthusiastic, brimming with zest; his love and empathy for kids are endearing. This narration is a winner, and this title is a good choice for parents and their children to listen to together. P.H.M. © AudioFile 2004, Portland, Maine--
