The HI 9033 is a multi-range, water resistant, portable conductivity meter suitable for use in wet, humid, and dusty conditions. The meter utilizes four-ring potentiometric technology, for higher accuracy than amperometric methods, and its probe is replaceable to prolong its longevity. It can measure conductivity in four ranges, which enables the user to analyze samples from deionized water to brine without switching or recalibrating the probe. The instrument features Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) from 10 to 50 degrees C (50 to 122 degrees F), to adjust the effects of temperature, and a Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) that alerts the user via the LCD screen when low batteries could affect the accuracy of readings.
Range is 0.0 to 199.9; 0 to 1999 μS/cm and 0.00 to 19.99 mS/cm; 0.0 to 199.9 mS/cm + or – 1% F.S. (excluding probe error) at 20 degrees C, with resolutions 0.1; 1 μS/cm and 0.01 mS/cm; 0.1 mS/cm. The device operates on a 9V battery. Dimensions are 196 x 80 x 60 mm (7.7” x 3.1” x 2.4’’), and weighs 425 g (0.9 lbs.).
