With the long awaited release of 'Hannah', The Age of Rockets show that they are as good as they originaly set out to be when the released their debut album, 'The Drive Home', almost tree years ago. With the new album Andrew Futral shows that him and his fellow cohorts, Saul Simon Macwilliams and Bess Rogers, are skilled at what they do. Comparable to the Postal Service, The Age of Rockets display raw talent in the areas of composing and lyrics.
I'd without hesitation say that The Age of Rockets has perfected the art of romantisizing life in todays youth and willingly say that this album is their best album thus far. I personaly can't take change the album from my iPod and won't tire from this new list of songs. But, I will admitt I can't wait to hear even more from these relativly unknown artists. Gregory Ryan |
