I purchased this item for Christmas for my daughter. The item itself isn't bad, but shipping damage is a problem. The original mfg. packaging does not accomodate FedEx or UPS handling. Amazon would need to repack this item, which doesn't happen. You can almost bet that there will be a torn box, missing pieces, or physical damage to the product. Do yourself a favor. Purchase the item locally where you can get it preassembled and look it over first....

This bike was a great deal, just as it appeared on Amazon. My daughter would have LOVED it! However, shipper damaged bike in transit, so we were not able to use it. Amazon was good with return, issued credit.

I was disapointed in the way the bicycle arrived on my doorstep. The box had been ripped in a couple of places and parts were hanging out. I bought this for a child for my churches "angel tree" and was disappointed that it looked less than perfect when I delivered it to the church. The bicycle was in perfect mechanical condition. I would assume it is riding safely as all the parts appeared to be OK.

The bike arrived on time as promised. It looks nice but the quality is poor. The instructions are not clear. The rear hand break is difficult to adjust. More pictures and a larger instruction sheet will be welcomed.

I had to take the bicycle to a repair shop to have it adjusted properly and to be safe.
