Hannah Montana Crush-tastic,
By Nicole Wilson, Author of "Undressing Chic... (Seattle, Wash., USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Hannah Montana #6: Crush-Tastic! (Hannah Montana (Quality)) (Paperback)
The Hannah Montana books deal with real issues and problems ongoing teenagers might encounter, things they worry about, or things they dream about or do.In the crush-tastic book, Miley has a crush on Jake and, as in so many crush cases, is afraid to let her feelings show. She makes a home tape with her aunt Dolly, declaring her feelings for Jake, never intending for him to actually see the tape. Somehow the tape winds up in his hands and Miley and aunt Dolly need to get it back before Jake watches it and discovers that Miley has a crush on him. It is a easy to read book, exciting and fun, without any illustrations. I like the fact that Miley confesses to her aunt Dolly and asks for her help in the recovery of the tape. Good to read about adults and children having a trusting relationship and working together to solve problems or retrieve tapes in this case. |
